Hi, I’m Liz Masucci.
I’m a somatic therapy practitioner.
What is somatic?
Witnessing is healing.
The word somatics comes from the Greek soma, meaning body. Your body is always speaking — in the tension you carry, the breath you forget to take, the quiet ache beneath the busyness of everyday life. But we've been taught to look everywhere but inward. As a society, we've grown increasingly sedentary, our attention pulled outward toward screens, slowly losing touch with our inner world.
Here's what I believe: no matter how far along you are in your healing journey, there is a tender part of you — an inner baby — still waiting to be seen, held, and told that it's going to be okay.
That's where somatics comes in. It's the practice of returning to the body, finding your way back to a sense of homeostasis and ease, especially when life is lifeing. My role is to guide you through that process — gently, at your pace, with your body leading the way.
"What your body truly craves isn't out there. It never was. Home is within."
